There will be a memorial service for Spc. Jeremy Darrell Tomlin, a UH-60 crew chief from the U.S. Army Aviation Brigade, who was killed during a routine training flight April 17 at Breton Bay Golf Course in Leonardtown, Maryland. The service will take place Friday, April 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Belvoir Memorial Chapel Fort Belvoir, Virginia. 

Tomlin, 22, was assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion and is originally from Chapel Hill, Tennessee. He was pronounced dead at 1:34 p.m., by a St. Mary's County first responder.
 
* The cause of the crash is under investigation. A team from the Army Combat Readiness Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama is conducting the investigation.
